First off,
Fringe - awesome! If you missed the pilot Monday night, it's on again on Sunday. Then expect it on its regular slot on Tuesday nights on Fox.
We buried our beloved 18-year-old kitty yesterday. Very sad.
I'm behind on reading, writing, reviewing. And it doesn't help that I just took on more reviewing duties. >sigh< But oh, the books I'll get to devour! I'm now a reviewer for
Pantechnicon, a cool SF ezine I just stumbled upon.
Taking up a large portion of my time right now, in addition to job hunting, is the Glendi Ethnic Food Fair. It's a little party (Glendi is Greek for party) that my church in Santa Rosa, CA throws every third weekend in September. We have over 2 thousand attendees over the two days. I'm the coordinator. Details, details, details. But it's such a fun festival. Live music both days and food from Eritrea, Greece, Russia, the Middle East, the Balkans, etc. And folk dance lessons by yours truly. If you're in the area, do come. More info
here.
Also, you can find me at the
Sonoma County Book Festival in Santa Rosa that Saturday until 1:30PM. I'll be manning the RWC (Redwood Writers Club) booth from noon to 1PM with copies of
Awesome Lavratt.
Finally, I found this
published author survey over at
swivet, the newest addition to my blog feeds. It's an agent's blog. It's a survey for published authors regarding helping with their own publicity.
